When I first talked to the bride, she knew she wanted a wedding on the beach! It makes things a lot simpler when the couple knows exactly what they want!! Her family lived on the Central Coast and she was visiting them during Spring Break. I also have to say that I loved how this bride would comment on Facebook when I posted a picture of the beach – wanting to get married at that special beach location. The bride had a date she wanted to get married. Sometimes, things all fall into place and the couple can have everything they need. For this bride, she got photos on the beach after the wedding and during sunset. But, because of the tide that day, I wasn’t too sure what the tide would be doing. I’m glad I didn’t chance it with the tide because there were a few times during the photo time that the tide did come up. We’ve had a few brides get splashed with the waves and that creates a fun photo.
The colors for the wedding were purple. This is one of my favorite colors for beach weddings. The bride had wanted to add hanging flowers in vases and a wedding arch with glass balls holding flowers and shells. The decorations were so pretty. Another touching part of the ceremony was the bride including her daughters as her bridesmaids. They all looked so pretty and were so happy for their mom.
The couple traveled from Nevada so we helped them with the wedding license for California. We had such a great time with the bride, she contacted me a few weeks after the wedding to talk about doing a trash the dress for their 1 year anniversary!
